The Meeting :-
1) Reviewed the Linux training including certification programs of b-lux.net
2) Outlined opportunities as Linux trainers (LUG members who are skilled Linux users): These include
Teaching/Demonstrating in:
Programming in Java, C/C++,
database configuration in PostgreSQL and MySQL,,
in StarOffice/OpenOffice2.x, The Gimp and KOffice,
in modern networking/system administration.
3) Outlined concessionary training for less experienced LUG members/attendees.
4) Provided demonstrations of the following liveCDROMs
The Knoppix live-cdrom,
the Mandrake-Move live-cdrom,
the SuSE demo live-cdrom,
the Damm-small-Linux live-cdrom,
the Slax live-cdrom,
the Adios live-cdrom.
the Feather-Linux live-cdrom,

the Basilick live cdrom.
